FAQ

Who will be involved in the campaign?
This campaign is for all who know and love the Zanders, whether from BayMarin, Marin County, San Francisco, or from other parts of the United States and the world. Dieter has served in numerous places with many different people, and we are inviting them all to support the Zanders at this time.

How long will the campaign run?
The campaign will run from May 1st through June 1st and be capped off by an arts event on Sunday, June 8th from 7:00-9:00pm at Dominican University’s Angelico Hall. This event will include a concert by local musicians and the “Dieter Tribute Band” playing music written by Dieter. There will also be an art showcase by the 2nd Saturday Arts Group (a ministry supported by BayMarin) around the theme of worship, with a silent auction for several art pieces.

How much money are we trying to raise?
Our goal is to raise enough funds to keep the Zanders whole (full salary and benefits) through 2009. If you would like more specifics on this, please contact Eric Nyberg at eric@baymarin.org.

How can I give?

There are several ways you can give. If you are a part of a church or organization that is conducting an in-house effort, you may give through them. In addition, you can give online by going to http://dieterzander.wordpress.com/. Click the “Donations” link, and follow the instructions. You can also send a check to BayMarin at P.O. Box K, San Rafael, CA 94913. Or you can come to the arts event on June 8th at Dominican University and bring your check with you. Please make all checks payable to the “Marin Ministers Crisis Fund.”

What is the Marin Ministers Crisis Fund? Where will the money go?

This is a tax deductible fund created and administered by BayMarin for the purpose of helping Dieter and others like him who are in crisis. All monies donated to the fund through this specific campaign will be given to the Zanders.

Can I give over a period of time?

The campaign is intended to be completed by June 1st, 2008. If you need to give over a longer period of time, you can donate online through August 31st, 2008.
